Go to bearcomarine.com/resin and look for the second ship down on the resin ships page, the resin tramp steamer. It looks just like the ship in your photo.

Turn the engine upside down and apply power to it to see if anything moves. I would doubt that the gears in both ends of it would break at the same time. My guess would be a decoder issue. Try programming it to channel 3 and starting over from factory settings.
