Re: Nick and Nora Designs

Mike & Karen,

I was almost going to call you for a drop-in shop visit. The wife and I were planning on visiting our friends over on Split Rail Lane over the New Years weekend but had to cancel. I would have loved to pay you a visit!

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Rebel, Dominos! That is such an obvious answer that was staring me in the face yet I didn't see it! DUH!! Of COURSE I can start the actual layout now and not restrict myself to only structure construction! Just build modules then move them to the new house and once the train room is ready, in go the...

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Hello All, I don't know if any of you remember this thread...or if you do remember it, if you care about it anymore! LOL! As you can see, it has been the better part of a year and a half++ since I posted any update here. And that is because I have not had any update. Basically, I have been focused o...

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Remember Me??

My engine took me down a dead end track and I lost my way for the past 3 months!! I've finally found my way back to the mainline, now I have to work up a head of steam so I can start making some forward headway again!

Re: My Home Layout - RF&P's Doswell Junction

So, Norm....After not posting on here myself since Dec. 10, I go to check out your progress and start to feeling a bit better when I'm scrolling thru your posts and see them end on Oct. 25. But, then I continue to scroll and see that you hit full stride again just 3 days ago! And then WHAMO...I see ...

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Project Update: There is no update! :-q Someone needs to do me a favor and turn off the 'Life Machine' so I can get back to more important stuff...like building train rooms! The Christmas break went nothing like I had planned and no progress has been made at all on the Train Room. Best I can look fo...

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Hey Mike...So do you have any progress to report on yours? Unfortunately, no. I got caught up in 'life' once again over the past few weeks and was not even able to get onto the board here. Catching up now! I do have a week of 'vacation' scheduled between Christmas and New Year's and have duly infor...

Re: New Layout BUILD - From Bare Concrete on Up!

Mike, All accolades aimed at Bob are certainly deserved. I was so impressed with his work on your layout, as well as Norm's, that I asked him to review/tweak my "O" gauge design that I had been working on (one that I thought was my "final" design). Well, he really worked his usu...
