Barry.......

I'm planning on it but I am sort of week to week with the doctors so I won't really know until June or July. In that I can drive I can be rather spur of the moment with this. If I needed to fly it would be different.

Great Idea! I will be looking for some company on the road trips to see the layouts if anyone is interested contact me through a PM. I will be taking lots of pictures! I find these road trips to be one of the best parts of attending the conventions and have met many great model railroaders this way. This area has some great layouts - a few were open as part of the preconvention layout tours for the Portland, Oregon Narrow Gauge convention a few years back.

I don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll set up a new one for Narrow Gauge Convention Info

Now that my trip to Seattle is back on - anyone got some ideas of places to go around Seattle to add some more pictures to this thread. Looks like there are going to be 25 real nice layouts to visit.

I have been photographing this old house for a few years and thought I would share the pictures as a weathering example. I original started taking pictures as a good example of nail holes and weathered siding. This first set of pictures shows how I found it in 2005.
