If there's another opening thread out there I didn't see it either. I guess you're our lead off hitter this morning.

Not much to report on today. I only got around to applying a few more rows of shingles to a roof last night. I ended up being at work an hour later than normal so that cut into my free time. Next week will be much, much worse. I'll be at manning a kiosk at a conference for the first part of the week. Those are long day.

People think I know everything because I'm the KING. Hal started his diet this week and called to ask if this pizza would help him loose weight. It seems there are hot dogs molded into the crust. So with the the dogs, the cheese, the pepperoni, and the mustard drizzle, I'd say this is a healthy meal. But, you can only have half of one slice. I need to tell Doug about the hot dogs - he loves junk food.

My trip to Nantucket yesterday was a success. I replaced the Bachmann On30 Forney with the 0-4-2 Porter. The Porter runs great on DC, performs all the tricks, and runs with much less current draw. I'm sure that once the engine is broken in it will draw even less current. And as an added bonus it'll pull two On30 passenger cars without complaining.

This building caught my eye while wandering around Nantucket waiting for the ferry. It looks like one (from the historic photos) that was on the dock near the station and then moved several times when Easy Street was created over the tracks by filling a tide water pond with sand. Nice coloring!

Today I start helping with the prep work for our club's game feed. Twelve to fourteen entrees, all from different animals...

That's it.
