New Fos kit- Red Hook Wharf

Wow, what a kit Doug is putting out this year! There is a lot going on here in this one and it appears very versatile as to how the buildings can be laid out. I am impressed with the whole look of this massive diorama!

Wow is exactly the word for this structure.

SBG member, Greg DeMayo, called me this morning and said he got an email from SBG member, Bob Butts (Reading Bob), showing a picture of the end building. The building is an ice house, the Langford Ice Co. Wow! I'm honored and if it's another Langford, I'm claiming it anyway! =)) =))

Looks like you get 8-9 structures not counting the dock/wharf. That's a little under $37 per building. Oh yea, I didn't count the two hoists either.

Yes, I'm getting this one as well.

That's about as nice a kit as has ever existed, in my estimation. I'm 100% committed to N scale and I'm still figuring out what I would do with it. What a beauty!

Hmmmm, how about a simple oval of track surrounding it?

...well, that Langford Ice is nice...but I really think the glue that holds this thing together is "Grove Marine Paint"....it looks to me that that building is the cornerstone to the whole complex.....

....Langford Ice - HA!!! =)) =)) =))

Maybe it should have been "Grove Glue and Paint" if it's glue you need. Well, at least it isn't "Langford Firewood"! =)) =)) =)) =)) =)) I do like the "Grove Marine and Paint" building.

Doug has really put out one fantastic kit this time around along with all his others.

Thanks for all the comments about Red Hook Wharf. So far the response has been great, we're sold half way through the run of 100 kits....it's taken several months to develop this kit and had a blast designing and building it. I'm looking forward to seeing the numerous ways modelers rearrange all the structures.

Thanks again,

Doug

Doug, you've really done a great job in the design & execution of this kit. No matter how many times I look at the dio I see something else that just blows me away. I "suggested" to my wife that this would be a GREAT Christmas gift :D , but at the rate you're selling 'em it may need to be a Trick or Treat gift! (~~) . Either way I'll be picking one of them up.
