"WELCOME - My name is Roger Malinowski. In years gone by, I have written numerous articles for the "NARROW GAUGE AND SHORT LINE GAZETTE," have built a few notable layouts and have done design work for other manufacturers. In 1994 I decided to manufacture my own product line under the name of "STONEY CREEK DESIGNS." My intent is to build quality 1/4" scale structure kits at a fair price. The kits are first released at the "NATIONAL NARROW GAUGE CONVENTION." They are limited production and sell out very fast. I do take reservations for up coming products. NO Deposit is necessary, just a firm commitment . Contact me for additional details "

Welcome Roger. Looking forward to your posts here and all your new designs. On30 is my venue so any of your kits would fit right in. Nice website too! B-)

Glad you decided to list your company here. It makes looking for manufactures much easier as the usually have a like right up front.

Thanks, for all the welcomes. I wish I had more time right now to get something started here but with less than two weeks before I leave for the NG Convention, I am really busy. Seems no matter how hard I try there are just tons of things to do in the final weeks. I'll be driving out to Colorado for the show, so we are leaving a bit early. Mixing some vacation with business.

After the convention my plan is to have a strong tie-in between this forum and my web site. I'll keep an update going on developing the new kit, pictures, details, encourage discussion on kit development, exchange ideas, etc..

For the regulars on this forum, I have tentative plans to have a table at CSS 09 this year. Probably will have a few of this years kit available, "the Station Scene". Maybe have some parts and pieces of the new Scarp Yard and maybe a few things just for display, Hunter's Mercantile, perhaps. Anyway, stop by and say hello. :-h

Roger,
Don't just tease us with a few things for sale at CSS09. And be prepared to sell those few you have on 'display'. Looking forward to CSS09

Speaking of teases, here's a picture of the crane that tentatively will sit in the scarp yard. Cool, huh?

Repeat post since you asked to continue it here.

Roger, welcome and here's hoping all your threads don't become so controversial, LOL. ;) I was wondering how did your HO version kit sell, do you think if people knew that you are now making something in HO it would sell better?? I love all of your O scale kits and have several slated for an HO scratchbuild. Is there any chance you will do any of your own kits in HO scale? PLEASE, thanks Pat
