Hi Roger,

It was great to meet you at the show and ride the train through the Royal Gorge. I look forward to hanging out some at the CSS show.

Well it's been a while since I've been here. Drove to the NG Convention in Colorado Springs and then took a few weeks sight seeing on the way home. Once home, worked like crazy to finish the pilot model of the scarp yard so I could show it at CSS, which I did. Wonderful response to the kit. I'll post picture soon. Cost will be $265.

I have another surprise for you. There will be a second kit. This is the 30th year anniversary of the convention and I wanted to do something special. I was thinking this would be a special kit for this years NG convention in St. Louis and only be sold there but it's coming out so nice, I will probably offer it as a regular kit after the convention. It is a hydracal kit and right now I only have plans for 100. I will probably do more if the demand warrants. I'll keep you posted.

John, Yes I did get it. I think your first email came while I was at the CSS show. I was just going to email you but seen you posted here. Thanks for the reservation. I just updated my web site so there are some great pictures there. I'll be posting some here, maybe this afternoon.

Here are some shots of the Scrap Yard. This one is the model built by Sir Nick. Nick has been kind enough to allow me to interpret his design into a On30 kit for this year. The crane pictured above will sit in the yard area. The yard area in the kit will be opened up considerably. Other than that, I've stayed true to Nick's design.

WARNING...Well roger tell ya what , on your scrap yard & that Nick Ogden built pilot example. 3rd picture bottom left you better change that wall with filled in with bricks window , parged areas also, plus the buttresses on each end because that wall is from Tom Yorkes #105 the rustic stone and frame ***out building***, as is the short end wall, with door.

Dr. Bendever is now the owner of the ******copywright****** to all those early Tom Yorke Design studio kits, pre 2000. Your going to need Dr bens permission in writting to use those walls. Ask me why i am not able to sell my Tom yorke licensed and approved from 2006--2009 RE-ISSUES on ebay .

Geez, Mike, chill out. I built those masters. I guess no one will ever be able to build a dilapetaded brick wall with stucco ever again.

Well SadMike,

Those wall castings were the same ones used on the building that you used a photo of , without my permission , to promote your business on Ebay . The phrase including the words "kettle", "black" and "pot" springs to mind .

So tell us , why aren't you allowed to sell your Tom Yorke licenced re-issues on Ebay any more ?

Well, if the photography of the structure had been more clear and easily viewed full screen rather than horribly shrunken, it would not be a question of are they exactly the Tom Yorke walls as they appear to be in the picture. You say you scratch carved the walls, fine.

If you did not , you might be dealing with Dr. Ben ?

I remember your note to me thru ebay, claiming i was using images of something you built. I asked you to identify which picture in the ebay advert was your build so that i could say in the advert which was yours. I had a total of 12 pictures and a few of them i had no idea who built what, just that i had saved all these pictures in a yorke file on the #105 rustic stone and frame kit.

I also asked you IN A REPLY , to identify which was yours. You never ever responded !

Re why i am not allowed to sell Tom Yorke re-issues on ebay since october 5..2009
Sometime over the summer Dr Bendover products purchased the copyright rights to all pre 2000 Tom Yorke Design studio designs. He claimed that my existing deal with Tom Yorke was null and void and complained to ebay, who immediately suspended me for copyright violation.

In an appeal to the suspension to ebay they basically pulled a pontius pilot and washed their hands and told me to bendover to Dr Bendover .,. Sure we could get International copy right law lawyers involved to what end ? Make lawyers $$$$$$ rich and bleed me dry. Being crazy is one thing, being stupid is not something i partake in.

The Yorke re-issues were coming to a close anyway, because i was close too reaching the magic number of each item i was licensed to produce. The sad part is that Yorke was not going to be able to receive the 20% commission on each re-issue i sold. And he needs those funds.
