A SCRATCH-KIT is a model that is a combination of both kit and scratch-building. The basic parts of the model are provided by the manufacturer. The modeler supplies the balance of the parts. A picture of each car will show the supplied parts. Parts not supplied are available from Grandt Line or Tichy Train Group.

The cars represent no particular prototype. They are completly generic, this gives you, the modeller, the ability to create any particular prototype model.
Photos & prices of all available SCRATCH-KITS will be posted. Additionally, this site includes CAD drawing instructions on building the cars. Templates required for some assemblies are included. Just a reminder that all freight cars are 22' long.
Also, these cars are well suited for Sn42 (27" long).

Suggest getting rid of the Flash on your website. An increasing number of people run browsers without Flash, for security & reliability reasons. And it makes your website unworkable from the iPhone and other mobile devices that don't support Flash.

There's no reason to use Flash when basic image links will do.

Just an update on the kits and website.
I have purchased the entire stock and website from Bill Orlando as he has become too involved with other endeavors.
In the meantime the website is currently unavailable as I update it and add new material.
Anyone interested in buying a kit can contact me directly. I will post here when I get the site back up.

It's been some time since I posted on this and I've now got the site up and kits can be purchased now. http://www.on30ima.com/

I've spent the past six months getting stuff organized, creating drawings for the parts to be laser cut and having some cutting done.
Trucks and couplers are not included so you can add the type that fits your railroad.

The Passenger Coach is finished and the kit is $22.50 OR with 3 part laser cut windows/doors $25.

I also have 18 Flat Car kits available. These are a special narrow width ( 6' ) and will make a good candidate for modifications and bashing.
Cost is $15 and free shipping

I also have a couple of the stock cars and I am working on getting the parts cut for the others.

All my kits are shipped free to the lower 48 by US First Class mail. Instructions are included on the web site to keep costs down. These can be copied and printed out for reference.
These kits may well be your best On30 purchase in 2011.
