A back side view of the fresh fish building. The module where it is located will not be seen from the back, unless someone is peeking in the window =)) =))

Beware of sneaky people - some folks on here might be peeking in your window!

Seriously, I am very impressed with how you make your building mock-ups and then finish them so well! :-bd :-bd :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Greetings all. Been busy but have had time to complete the stiff leg derrick. It is now in position and waiting for traffic. Also working on some boats for the harbor and planting grass on the corner module.

Hi David:

I like the Fresh Fish building. It reminds me of an old MR or RMC article. A campbell kit was used and the refrigerator was scratch built.

Thanks for checking in on progress guys. Hey Karl, you are right on the Fresh Fish structure. It was originally Prestons Fish, built by - - - you know who :D our own Mr. Dave Frary in 1976 for RMC. I cut the article out before discarding the magazine for a future build. When you think about it that's a long time from inspiration to build but I did get it done. I changed the name to honor a dear departed friend from my days as a member of the New England HOn30 Module Group, Victor Hamburger. Even back in 76 Dave was what I call an inspirational writer. The article had no plans with dimensions just pictures and in B&W. I have a few more to build but that's another story for a different day.

I've been fooling around with GIMp and an HDR program that Jammie was kind enough to post a tutorial in the photography thread. It is a cool program but it sure shows things I hadn't noticed. This scene needs work, lots of work. I used a point and shot and bracket two stops up and two down, tripod and self timer. Helped to avoid movement.

Watermarks because it's still free.

Thanks Thom, this from a kit designer and builder is great encouragement to move forward. I have made some progress and getting closer to sea weeds and water as we speak. I think that will make a big difference in the scene. Besides I want to start building some equipment. Not that I need more but it is fun.
