Postby R.Seckler » Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:45 pm

Hello All

I need to install some manual turnout control's on the Dutchess & Hudson Valley RR

I have only found two types i like

The Blue Point by (New Rail) & Bullfrog by Fastrack

Can you give me pros & cons on either one, if anyone has used these.

Thanks in Advance

price is a difference. I believe the Bullfrog is cheaper and a kit. I have used the Blue Point and am very satisfied with their working qualities as well as installation. I did have to add a thicker wire to use on some Peco turnouts.

You can make your own. It depends how quickly you need them and if you enjoy this " make it yourself" approach.
