Figures, there is a real good guy in the hobby and he makes great looking kits that don't fit my neck of the woods. ~x(

Dave, don't give up on plaster kits. Do try a smaller one first, as a learning kit. Once you figure out the different techniques for plaster/hydrocal kits, you'll turn out some really neat models.

Dave. I just saw this, will be glad to send the parts no charge. Seriously, I don't care if it was your fault, it's no biggie. I know that the one thing about these kits is they can be a bit fragile. I never want a guy to be afraid to buy one because of that. I figure the $10 it costs me to send the parts out is money well spent in aquiring a solid customer. Cheers!

Thanks Dave G

I have several Downtown Deco kits and they look great in the box! I actually built Bingo's Pool Hall a few years back, but I couldn't tell you any deatils on the build or even the type glue I used. It wasn't dfficult to assemble and did take paint well. It looks a bit strange sitting about the benchwork with many other plastic and wood craftsman kits that don't have a home yet, either. Some day it will fit in with the other Deco buildings...when and if I ever get to them.

I think that maybe I did not get enough epoxy in the joints. I just finished cleaning up my replacement parts and now to glue them together.
