..and here is the showroom basically finished as suggested in the instructions...except for the roof over the main entrance...I have some other plans, so check back later on what I have done to alter the look a bit...

...also, a better pic showing the laser cut fascia and cornice....a nice effect....

..and the powerhouse basically complete as suggested and instructed.....I have this little powerhouse with some other uses on my layout, (and have done this one many times on dioramas...)...I think Matt should put this little powerhouse out as a seperate kit $-) $-) ....it serves many purposes and everyone needs a few of these on their layout.....

....I am gonna change this up a bit, just to try to make it less recognizable with the others....

Do a slate/shingle roof with a clerestory. That's typical for power houses and will provide a lot of roofline interest.

Hey Jeff, it's looking great! Love the idea of enlarging the window opening to make a doorway. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the powerhouse.

...hmm, not a bad idea...I was gonna just add a cupola or something....but Dave makes a great suggestion.....so I steal some parts from the main structure build, the cupola pieces....and you will need to get some windows from the included sprues....I also have plenty of RDA stuff in my parts bin, so I have plenty of parts...but if necessary, I am sure a call or email to Matt or Carole and you can purchase whatever you can think up....

...I start by making the gables for the clerestory for the cupola parts....

...then I cut the flanges off the windows as shown to form "triple" windows.....the windows in the bottom of the picture are the flangeless ones...note that I took off a left, a right and both.....the top windows are just off the sprue before becoming "flangeless".....

...a little styrene trim from the scrapbox.....and then you see the clerestory before final painting and glazing....NOTE: you can see a bit of the powerhouse in the background....more on that later......

...and thanks Dave for the great idea.... :-bd :-bd

..and as Jaime says...."I love this place"....or is that "we love pictures"...????
