Depends on what you want to do with the stage coach. When I built mine I made the harness tongue rigid to the coach and then hung everything off of that, horses and harnessing. That means........... If I pick it up by the coach the horses are still in a line as they would be if on the ground. I don't like gluing complicated things down as I do operations here and if someone bumps something I would rather have it move out of the way than get pried up from the glue and break along the way. Just a preference.

Good suggestion Bob, I'll give it a try, Thanks!

Tom, you crack me up. Thanks for bringing some fun to this horse build. I'm sure you will find more fodder along the way, be careful were you step.

David and Jim, thanks for following along and adding some humor to an otherwise boring build. Just to let you know progress is being made but it is slow. Some of these parts are tinny! Pictured below are the rails running along the top of the coach to keep luggage from falling off. This stuff is small.

There was no way I could glue each piece to the top one by one, so I 'm trying to glue about three pieces together while still on the sprue and then adding it to the top, I'll see how that works.

I have built a half dozen of the stagecoach kit. This is one of the kits I will be discussing in my vehicle modeling clinic at Expo in October.

Mike, sounds like I should be there but will be traveling overseas at the time. Will keep pushing forward for now. Of course it would be nice to see a internet video after your demo. Would you care to share any pics?

Broke out the spray gun and painted the coach body green along with a highlift coal truck and the coach wheels and frame yellow. Now if I can only make more progress on the railings.

Boy this roof with the luggage rack is a pain. The parts are soooooo small. But progress is taking place. The next one will move quickly. =)) =)) Getting the main body ready for decals along with the SR&RL caboose. Decals are always a "project" for me so doing two will make it easier. Picture is of the coach to date.
