Barry,

Nice photos! You and Janice have really been busy! I miss having you two drop in occasionally on Friday nights. Of course, you still could, it's just 60 plus miles north, and no layout to speak of (yet)....

Looking forward to seeing your layout this September, if not sooner.

Are you going to John White's open house next week? I plan on being there...

Thank you all for your kind comments on our railroad.

The railroad is HO/HOn3 and in homage to Dave Frary, there is currently no fewer then six linear inches of HOn30 track out back of Sierra West Sawmill which is in final assembly.

The backdrop shown in the photos above was purchased. Since I bought it, Janice and I have made a number of trips to Colorado where I have shot dozens of panoramas, a number of which will be used for backdrops on the remaining sections of the railroad. The photos I have posted cover only about 10% of the layout. I hope to have some of them up before the Narrow Gauge Convention in September. I am one of the 30+ layouts that will be open.

Mario Rapinett has posted a number of my panoramas on his website

Thanks for all the kind words.

Darryl,

Welcome to the forum. I know you are attending the Narrow Gauge Convention. Do all your friends look for the yellow Darryl Huffman Alaska tee shirt or the flashing neon Darryl Huffman Idaho tee shirt?
