Full Steam Ahead

I started Full Steam Ahead because I wanted to share my love of model building and railroading with others.
Every kit is packaged in a wooden cigar type box with my logo, the kit's name and a fencing jig on the back.
Because I wanted a complete kit I also include everything to make a first class foreground structure. All buildings have billboards, laser-cut roofing, lots of metal castings, over 100 scale feet of fencing material and colourful signs.
Instructions are detailed so that any level of model builder can work to a level that they are comfortable with and hopefully learn and improve their skills

Here are Greg's Boatworks "Farmers' Market" model pictures. He used all the fencing and loading dock stripwood to build the docks. The addition of the boat doors and a few metal boat castings are the changes to the kit (I personally love what he did with the kit)

Here are a few shots of the completed lower section of the station. I am working on the roof (what a treat it is proving to be ... I laid awake most of Monday night thinking and thinking of the best way to tackle it ... it felt like I had a hangover all Tuesday. Tonight I had a few break throughs and I am now confident I will be successful ... otherwise it will end up being a one of as opposed to a kit.

Karl S., thanks I wouldn't disagree with you on my best effort ... although it was a collaborative effort with Greg Shinnie ... the old 2 heads analogy I guess.

Rebel, the tent has a plywood frame that you glue pre-laser cut heavy paper around the outside. It is a cool effect ... again Greg Shinnie designed the tent around a simple design ... and to think someone once criticized Greg for mixing Captain Nemo's Nautilus with a Fine Scales Seafood Emporium ... Greg cried for weeks and the only thing that could cure him was a trip to Springfield.

Just wanted to let you know the HO scale Shady Awnings and Tents is ready to go. Only 100 kits are available. The kits are listed at $99 plus $10 shipping. Also, you can take off $20 for any other kit you would like to order, accept the Garage and Shack kit ... take off $10.
