A Helix? Another level? Guys, I'm confined to a wheelchair!

When the first explansion was built, I gave Scott about 500 dioramas to use. Like when I eat, it was far too much. He used the best fit for the track plan, about 10 or so. Again, we'll use what we can. The rest will go back on the shelf, to save for my future "bachelor pad" which may come shortly after the 09 NMRA convention layout tour bus pulls up to my house after midnight.

I know for sure which one's I really really want to use. We'll see. The layout planning party is now going to be next week. Doug Foscale is resting, and recovering from a sunburn.

Hi Jimmy. Picking on you? Us? Hard to believe. That is what you get for showing us up with the "I have more toys than you" type posting and making us jealous. :D :D You should be in good shape with the variety of built structures to choose from. Based on the cut-'n-paste effort I posted above, your new harbor is going to look great!! Looking forward to seeing more.

Jimmy,
What you need to do is brib the Board of Director.
With the possiblity of more Family Room space which of course needs to have a layout running in and around it to keep the kids entretainted.
If you like I know a great GC who is also a MRR.
Looks great so far.
You should build what you like and enjoy. Good luck and let me know if you need any help.

Jimmy, we're not picking on you (we have Scott for that). I was thinking of a trapeze system hung from the ceiling you could sit on and go up down and all around (kinda like the moving cranes in loco shops) or like the Cirque du Soliel shows. Just put it on Scott's "to do" list.

Okay, so I've been waiting all day to see what kind of progress ya'll made today. I'm guessing you got the trackwork down and a few of the industries placed. Can't wait for the pics.

Jimmy,
Since others are planning such an extensive second level or outdoor extension to your Pennsy and since you have a coal mine already, how about adding this to the wharf area that will be freed up by these expansions:

These now abandoned PRR rotary coal dumpers at South Philly's Greenwich yard. Looks to be an easy project, an evening or two with some Central Valley parts should be all. =)) O:-)
