Brett,

When will E.J. Whiley be ready to ship. No pressure. Just curious. :)

Hey Paul:

EJW will be going out the door in the next 10 days, around the first of March.

Sierra West's Twin Mills wins Best of Show at CSS 2009.

Carl Laskey's rendition of the Twin Mills wins Best of Show at the 2009 Craftsman Structure Show.

Congratulations to both Carl and Brett.

You can view some photos I took of the winner here:

Carl deserved an award, just for getting the thing to the event in the first place. It is huge! He said that he can stand the thing on its side and nothing falls off as it is all so well adhered to the base. One really nice feature of the model was the soundtracks that the viewer could select depicting different times of day and different shift operations, a very nice presentation indeed.

Thanks Jaime and LHC for the kind words. Carl is an awesome modeler and was very deserving of the big honor of best of show.

I am very fortunate to have modelers like Carl, Elliott Moore, and Mike Engler build and enter my kits winning the big awards. Can't ask for more than that!

Hi Brett, it was good having you as a neighbor at CSS. Funny, now that I'm home I keep thinking of stuff I wanted to talk to you about...Roger
