The torn roofing with the boards exposed underneath looks great. I really like the added effect.

Ask and thou shalt receive. I have been plugging along and have just finished the slate roof on the main building. On one side, I used a glue stick and glued down a graph that I copied from a form book onto the roof for guidance. Well, on the other side, I figured I didn't wan't to take the time to do that and that I could do equally wel eyeballing it. Ummm, no, I can't, :ymblushing: but then again, I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I will let you all be the judges. I have, in fact completed more than this, but I don't have pictures of the truck dock as it is not attached as yet. As soon as I get it on the building with the roof, I'll have pics of that.

Okay, that, obviously is the roof with the graph paper glued on it. Here are two shots of the basically completed (without the ridge cap) slate roof.

This is the side that I didn't use the graph paper on. (I was just too lazy and cocky to do it around the slot for the tower. The second photo is the other side where I did use the graph paper.

The camera sure does show up your inadequacies.

Here is the last photo that I have for now. This is the receiving dock end of the building. I could not find instructions on how to do this door, so I scibed board lines in the chip board and the laid out the frame boards for the door. (Thank goodness for a Chopper II! :-bd ) As you might be able to see, I forgot to put a board across the bottom of the door :ymblushing: and will have to rectify that in the near future.

Well, I keep plugging along and ignoring other things that I should be doing ;) . That's one good thing about being single, and having a job that has strange hours. I have the ridge cap on the roof of the main building. As seen here ...

I have also been working on the rafter tails, here is an in-progress photo.

I have a few photos of the upper walkway that I have basically done, I will send in another post.

Here are the photos of the upper walkway to the roof. I was not going to install this today, but I'm glad I did, it came out well. I had the walkway built and my mother asked me if there was something that went off of that door at the top of the tower, or was it a door to nowhere. So I installed the walkway, here is the result:

As I work, you will get more photos. Sorry for the so-so quality of the photographs, but I think for what it is, the iPhone takes pretty decent photos. Oh, and thank you for all of the kind words everyone. Keep them coming, they keep me motivated!! \m/

Hello, Jim:
Did you finish Laskey? I began doing the early prep work on mine, and wanted to check in with you to see about maybe encouraging you to post some final pix. Hobby on! \m/
