Nice work LHC. I seem to need plans, even with an imagination I couldn't come up with anything like yours.
One fine job. :D

Here is my version of the elevated tower. I think I used plans from Wayne Weslowski's book on structures. Here's a few photos.

Karl,
You never cease to amaze me! That is an awesome elevated tower! You and Tom both did a great job on them. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us to get going on our projects!

Here's a couple of mine.
I scratch built this mostly from illustration board, paper and different thickness of card stock. I scratch built the tower from brass.

These two are built from plaster castings I made using Linka brick molds.

This is build from all sorts of materials and it isn't finished yet. I'm not sure when I'll get back to work on it.

I try to take a lot of pictures while I'm building. If anybody is interested they're here: http://public.fotki.com/DaveInTheHat/davetown/

Dave,
I'm a big fan of your Davetown Salvage - that was a neat build thread you did... the boat works takes a very close second, especially the travel-lift. :-bd Hope you're doin' well and recovering quickly.

Hi Norm:

I like the Salvage co. also. Maybe Dave will post the boat works. I don't remember that one.

Brucie,

Thanks, much appreciated. Karl is right, Rusty Stumps and Micro Mart both sell the stringers. On the models Karl and I did, we had to cut them out of stock stripwood.
