Well, I bought the FSM kit #125 (Water Tank and Tool Shed) in 1979 and it doesn’t look anywhere as good as either of these two pics. The floor of the shed on mine looks good, but who picks up the roof to look inside?…unless it’s a contest model, and mine isn’t. This reminds me of the first FSM kit #135, the Two Stall Engine House that I bought back in 1976 (I think). I was so proud to own it that I took it to my dad’s house to show it off. Upon leaving to go home, I placed the kit on the top of my car to pack other stuff and didn’t realize I had forgotten it until I got home, about 15 miles away. I hurried back to cover my tracks and found it on the roadside not far from dad’s house, but not before it had been hit by a car…the parts were everywhere. I was SICK. I still have it and hope to try to "put it together" one day. Great looking work here guys. Horton

Now that's a sad story if I ever heard one.

Doug,

Great job on the H2O tank! I have both versions of this FSM kit. I built the first one that had the brick paper walls! Man, what a pitiful job I did on that one some 40+ years ago! And where were all you stars back then? Saving the new H2O tank for a rainy day.

I'm placing an order this afternoon so I can get the freeby kit you are offering. I really like the diversity of your releases!

Would any one consider sending me a photo copy of the original instructions for the original water tower.

I have the engine house and it has been on my railroad for WAY over 30 years but I never found a water tower. Being in Idaho doesn't help. Remembering that they sold new for under 20 bux doesn't help either when I see one on the internet.

see ya
