Rick Bickmore's Harrisburg Terminal RR

Rick Bickmore's Harrisburg Terminal RR

Postby MASSIVERALPH » Sat Sep 24, 2011 6:27 am

Last night I got my first invite to operate on Rick's HTRR railroad. It is a steel based PRR layout which is a theme I absolutely adore. Rick has one of the finest layouts on the east coast and is a prolific scratchbuilder, using paper for many of his models. To proove it he has a thread on RR-line that is over 80 pages and I believe it is in the top 10 on that forum of most read. I encourage all to take the time to go through all 80+ pages. Trust old massive here...it is worth it. Here are a few grab shots I took with my I phone.

What's a steel mill RR without a blast furnace. Here is Herr St. west.

Slag dump.. I ran at least two of these. There are a bunch of hot metal runs too. When that furnace taps, all hell breaks loose.

Here is the town of Lucknow. My first local was to drill this area.

My grab shots do not do this layout justice. Grab your favorite beverage and spend some time enjoying the RR-line thread. You will not regret it!
