I think about $20 according to David.

Can anyone confirm?

I'll be traveling from Providence up to Peabody the morning of 10/13 on my way to my first premium clinic. If anyone arrives at Logan or PVD the morning of 10/13 I'd be glad to stop by and pick him up. My fare is one bottle of Floquil's Driftwood =))

Seriously, I'm renting a car at PVD so I can pick up someone at PVD or Logan the morning of 10/13 as I make my way to Peabody.

If I have it straight from the desk person, this is what was said as to cost:

Taxi from Logan Express drop-off in Peabody to hotel $20
Taxi (local) to Logan $35

Logan Express from Logan to Peabody (or reverse) is $25.

This would lead one to believe that it is cheaper to use the Taxi. I will call Taxi company in the morning (flooding in area kept Taxi Company closed today) to confirm costs and post what I find out.

Just spoke to North Shore Taxi and here is the skinny:

tell the Logan Express driver that you need a taxi to the Holiday Inn, he will arrange. $9.75 to the Hotel.

As I mentioned, I have an early flight out of Logan. As the Holiday Inn shuttle does not run early, Taxi can pick-up at Holiday Inn and take to Hotel for $35.

Taxi phone number 1-978-532-2222

WE ARE LOOKING INTO THIS!

One reason we chose this hotel was for ease of travel to-from Logan. They are supposed to have a shuttle for us. We sold out every room, and are using rooms at the 3 hotels around us! We'll do what we need to do. We have to! over 300 people are counting on us! YIKES...

Ok Boys and Girls, here's the scoop.
The Peabody Holiday Inn shuttle runs all day until about 11:00 PM, they just told me that they have added extra staff to accommodate the Expo, on the 12th through 15th. The do not make runs to and from the airport, but they do pick people up at the Logan Express drop-off if you call the hotel 978-535-4600. Logan Express - Peabody is $12.00 one way or $22.00 round trip http://www.massport.com/massport/gtu/Lo ... abody.aspx.
If by chance you get in after 11:00 PM you would need to call a cab, as well as if you have an early flight, it is about 3 miles north of the hotel, and you should expect to pay about $9-10.00 for the trip. As Dave said, cab fair from the airport should be between $35.00 and $45.00, another cab co. is Tri City Cab 978-531-3112. There is also North Shore Shuttle 800-233-7466 http://www.bedriven.com at $56.00, which is more of a step above a cab.
The hotel shuttle will also pick you up at the commuter rail station in Wakefield, MA about 4 miles from the hotel. They will also run folks to and from the malls or restaurants as long it is with in their 5 mile range.

Over and out, for now.

Wakefield is on the MBTA's "Haverhill Line" from North Station in Boston. Some of the MBTA trains that go all the way to Haverhill have unadvertised connections to Amtrak's Downeaster to Portland, ME. Wakefield is also home to the North Shore Model RR Club, which has a big Appalachian-themed HO standard gauge layout in the basement of Brothers' Restaurant a couple of blocks from the MBTA station.
