Wooden Water Tower

Does anyone have the board specs. for the barrel part of a wooden water tower? I don't know what size board to use, either 2x6; 8; or 10". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

A CNW one used 3"x6" for the stave's!

Rebel, thanks. Would you have any references to further look into water towers? i.e., books, articles, mag. issues, etc. Personally I like the CNW idea but, would like to see one to get a real perspective on how to kitbash the tank I have. Thanks again, Mark

No, just looked it up and found a bill of lading.
